Re-inventing Energy and accelerating decarbonization
Hydrogen
While the green transition is underway, progress is moving too slowly. Especially in sectors with significant emissions and inherent challenges to transition—so-called hard-to-abate sectors.
Electrification is not enough, in many hard-to-abate cases green hydrogen is the only option for CO2 reduction. However, an essential component for the transition to green hydrogen is missing—a market. Advancing this development requires dedicated first movers to pave the way for a green hydrogen market and drive demand. For a market capable of attracting actors to participate in the transition to green hydrogen, robust infrastructure and essential services are necessary.
Hydri
From advisory, design, and delivery of comprehensive hydrogen systems to operations and maintenance throughout the entire lifecycle, Qarlbo Energy becomes an end-to-end provider through our portfolio company Hydri with its business areas: Infrastructure and Solutions.
Our approach is to be a pioneer and create new paths, creating a market and act as the integrator among all stakeholders in the hydrogen value–chain.
In doing so, we not only power the transition but also fuels a sustainable future for generations to come.
Decentral and Digital Energy
Our vision is of a society where everyone is empowered to take a central and impactful role in the connected, intelligent ecosystem of energy production, distribution and consumption. We believe that the traditional linier way with more production, copper wires and transformers ispart of the past.
The complexity of the new energy landscape will require a much more intelligent approach. The potential in decentralized energy assets through digital enablement will create an environmental and commercial sustainable energy landscape, for society and end users.
Our ambition is to shift the viewpoint from silos and single assets to communities and full integrated systems.
Wavemaker Impact
Qarlbo Energy has invested in Singapore-based Wavemaker Impact, a venture capital fund for investments in early-stage ideas and smaller companies with a focus on developing fossil-free energy solutions.
